ABOUT PATSY, JERRY AND "A LITTLE BIT OF PEACE"

Aloha and welcome to our "A Little Bit of Peace" on-line photo gallery.

This inspiring collection of images has been gathered from our extensive travels throughout all fifty U.S. states including extended stops at twenty national parks and landmarks.

You'll find photos from our two-year, 100,000 mile Peace Bubble journey across America where we explored the question, “What does peace look like for you?” and video documented more than 7,000 people's candid responses.

Our “aluminum bubble,” a vintage, tear-drop style travel trailer, functioned as a live performance venue by day and an editing studio for many, many late nights.

We made stops in places like Ground Zero (NY), Wounded Knee (SD), the Chamizal National Monument (TX) and the Lady Bird Johnson Redwood Grove (CA).

Late in 2008, the Peace Bubble sailed across the Pacific Ocean to the Big Island of Hawaii where it is now a mobile host of our "A Little Bit of Peace" gallery.

We invite you to let the spirit of these Islands inspire you to “picture aloha everywhere!”

Ever seen a turtle with a mustache?

"We met thousands of people on our Peace Bubble journey who inspired us to believe that "peace is possible, if we want it! Look for some of their (your) faces in the "PEACE SIGNERS ACROSS AMERICA GALLERY."

Patsy Ferrell, Photographer, Hilo, Hawaii

Cincinnati school children wait in line to take a tour of the famous "Peace Bubble" after a live music performance featuring peace tunes from the 60's.

"There was this Buddhist monk who once said that trying to find peace is like trying to find a turtle with a mustache. You won’t be able to find it! But when your heart is ready, peace will come looking for you.

We are hoping that a little bit of peace will find you as you browse through our image gallery."

Jerry Leggett, Visual Artist-Performer, Hilo, Hawaii

Sending you a little bit of peace from Hawaii Island! If you are in Hilo, be sure to visit our mobile gallery at the local Farmer's Market on Wednesday and Saturday. Oh, yes, and don't forget to stop by the Kalapana Lava Viewing Site and make a little donation to help keep it open. Mahalo!
